Certified Pilates Instructor - COR Pilates Founder
Corinne White first discovered Pilates in 2003 while expecting her second child. As a competitive martial artist, she was seeking a practice that would support balance and strength while also being safe during pregnancy. From her very first session, she was hooked—the parallels between martial arts and Pilates gave her the tools to maintain muscular balance, flexibility, and control.
In 2007, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu injury led to multiple shoulder surgeries and an end to her martial arts career. It was during this time that Corinne experienced the true rehabilitative power of Pilates. Through the use of the Pilates apparatus, she was able to move with precision, rebuild strength, restore flexibility, and regain a balanced body.
Trained and educated through the Body Arts and Science International (BASI) program, Corinne and the COR teaching team honor the foundations of Pilates while embracing the natural evolution of the human body.
When she’s not in the studio, you never quite know where you’ll find her. Alongside her husband and children, Corinne is an avid traveler, snow skier, and weightlifter, a devoted pack leader, and passionate about all things water. Her three dogs, always ready for kisses and pets, are a prominent part of the studio experience.

Apprentice I
Sophia Powell was first introduced to Pilates when she attended a class with her sister, Rylee. She was immediately drawn to the pace of the practice and its ability to build strength, control, and focus.
While pursuing a full course load at California State University, Monterey Bay, Sophia also dedicated herself to professional Pilates education, enrolling in the Body Arts and Science International (BASI) Comprehensive Teacher Training Program.
Upon graduating with a degree in Business Management, Sophia is excited to begin her career as both a certified Pilates instructor and the content manager for COR Pilates.
As an avid music lover, Sophia can often be found at a festival—or bringing that same energy into the studio. Her upbeat, fast-paced classes reflect her passion, blending rhythm, flow, and strength. As her student, you’re guaranteed an engaging and inspiring experience.
